We (Jorge and Emily) both had our first full-time restaurant jobs in pizza shops; Emily in Colorado and Jorge in New Jersey. 20 years later, we found our way to East Durham. We envision Sofia's as a casual neighborhood spot where neighbors new and old can hang out and enjoy tasty pizza, salads, and local beers.
Jorge's been busy running El Rey del Taco since 2008 and is really looking forward to finally having his own kitchen.
Our interior completion/restaurant architect was Matthew Konar Architect.
